I am slowly but surely wanting to get back to food combining. I was first introduced to it when I read Suzanne Somer's book Eat Great, Lose Weight. It was very educational to me in understanding the benefits from food combining. The basic rule is to eat proteins separate from carbs-- and to eat fruit on an empty stomach. It aids in digestion, giving more energy and revving up metabolism. I remember when I followed this plan, I had a lot of energy and lost 50 pounds. I am going to try to follow this as much as I can..... can always use more energy!
